Hello.

I am a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist with 15 years experience, blending compassion, expertise, and advocacy to improve respiratory health outcomes. My journey began as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where I developed a strong foundation in direct patient care, resilience, and a deep understanding of the human side of medicine.

Throughout my career, I have worked across every level of respiratory care, from critical care units to outpatient settings, skillfully managing ventilator-dependent patients, acute and chronic respiratory conditions, and emergency interventions. My ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while fostering patient trust has been a driving force in my practice.
Expanding beyond bedside care, I transitioned into a Hospital Liaison role, honing my skills in interdisciplinary collaboration, patient advocacy, and care coordination. This experience strengthened my ability to bridge communication gaps between healthcare teams and patients, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Recognizing the power of data-driven healthcare, I pursued a Master of Science in Healthcare Informatics, equipping me with the skills to merge clinical expertise with technology. In my recent role with the CDC US-Mexico Quarantine Station, I successfully analyzed and managed complex respiratory surveillance data, driving impactful public health initiatives.
I thrive in dynamic environments where patient-centered care, innovation, and continuous learning intersect. With a proven track record in leadership, adaptability, and advocacy, I am eager to bring my diverse expertise to a role that advances respiratory care and enhances patient well-being.

“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”
