Hello.I am a compassionate heatlhcare advocate with a decade plus of hands-on patient care experience. I began my career as a certified nursing assistant where I learned valuable life lessons in work ethic and the fortitude needed to be a healthcare champion. I later became a respiratory therapist and worked with many different respiratory compromised patients in every level of care. I have also had the liberty of learning valuable communication skills as a hospital liaison and building relationships with key hospital stakeholders. I believe in constant growth as a long life learner. Shortly after I obtained a master of science degree in healthcare informatics, I successfully finished a contract with the CDC US-Mexico Quarantine Station and discovered my passion for public health and safety. I am excited for a professional pivot to extend my knowledge to a larger population base.

“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”
